Engineering Project Manager / Lead Engineer

Operating on a global scale, this world leading manufacturer of high quality, specialised engineered products are looking to recruit a Lead Engineer for their South Wales facility.
This is a newly created role where you will lead a multi-functional team to continuously improve all aspects of plant equipment and personnel, whilst leading projects from concept to handover.
Role & Responsibilities will include:
Plant & Equipment:
* Establishing new production equipment / facilities by project managing small and medium projects from concept to handover. Developing and executing a 5 year capital plan.
Continuous Improvement:
* Lead change management associated with CI Project activities, whilst resolving production difficulties by developing and implementing solutions.
Safety & Legislative Compliance
* Maintain Compliance relating to legislation affecting site based equipment and activities
* Work closely with the HSE team in conducting risk assessments for project implementation, whilst participating in safety assessments - PUWER, LOLER etc
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
* Proven Project Planning & Project Management experience relating to high value equipment installation
* Ideally Degree Qualified with at least 5 years experience in a similar role within an Engineering / Manufacturing environment
* Experience in CI activities, Legislation & Compliance and Contractor management
