Job Description

Mobile Fitter Weymouth - c£36,000 Mechanical qualification

Bluegate are seeking a Mobile Fitter to join one of our global clients in their Weymouth site. This role offers the chance to work with a variety of mechanical and non-mechanical ancillary equipment, ensuring their optimal performance and reliability.

Main Responsibilities:

- Inspect and repair equipment on client sites.
- Perform preventative maintenance to minimise equipment downtime.
- Ensure all work adheres to Health, Safety, and Environmental Regulations.
- Occasionally cover Workshop Fitter responsibilities during absences.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

- ONC / HNC / HND / City and Guides in Mechanical Engineering.
- Level 2 Certificate BTEC in Engineering Operations (Knowledge).
- Aptitude for working on construction sites.

Essential:

- Awareness of isolation and safe systems of work requirements.
- Proven experience in a similar environment with a sound understanding of on-site safety.
- Flexibility and adaptability to challenging situations.
- Willingness to travel to support business demands.
- Full driving licence (no more than 6 points).
- Over 21 years of age due to insurance purposes.
- Comfortable working outside in all weather conditions.
- Proactive approach with attention to detail.
