We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated female support worker to assist a young lady with Smith-Magenis syndrome, severe learning disabilities, epilepsy, and traits of autism. This role involves providing 2-to-1 support, offering personalised care to ensure her well-being and promote independence in her daily activities. Applicants must hold a valid driving licence and be able to drive a manual car. Ideal candidates will have experience in similar support roles, along with patience and strong communication skills to work effectively within a team and with the individual.

Responsibilities Include:

• Assisting with daily activities
• Providing personal care prompts.
• Monitoring medication and finances.
• Offering emotional support, companionship, and encouragement.
• Promoting independence.
• Maintaining accurate records and reporting any changes in the client's condition.
• Collaborating with other professionals involved in the client's care.

Working Hours:

• Early Shift: 07:30 - 14:45
• Late Shift: 14:45 - 21:30

Weekday and weekend shifts are available.
