Procurement Manager
Witney, Oxfordshire
£50,000-££63,000

We are looking for a Procurement Manager to join client of ours. This client has a worldwide reputation, and the Procurement Manager will be located at their Head Office based in Witney. This forward-thinking, innovative organisation requires an experienced person with previous purchasing management experience within a manufacturing environment. You should have a good understanding of how products are engineered and manufactured.
You would have effective negotiation and supplier management skills, experience of managing costs down within and people management experience. The ideal person would also have a level 5 or 6 CIPS qualification, but this is not essential.

Procurement Manager duties to include
  • Managing all purchasing activities in the UK
  • Identify and implement areas to reduce costs
  • Strategically identify and validate possible new suppliers
  • Implement effective stock control measures to minimize stock whilst still delivering to customers on time
