Metal Works Fitter/Installer

Join our dynamic team as a Fitter at our established Metal Fabrication company in South London. We specialize in serving various sectors, primarily local authorities within London. As a Fitter, you will play a crucial role in our production process, contributing to the fabrication and assembly of high-quality metal products. We are looking for a skilled, reliable candidate to be part of a busy team to install various metal works such as balconies / railings / staircases / security doors / garage door as well as carrying out general maintenance/adaptions on metal products and or as the job requires.

Based in South East London, to travel and work on sites as required across London.

Must have MiG and ARC welding experience

Must have UK driving licence

Must have aConstructionSkills Certification Scheme (CSCS) Card

To carried out installation of various metal works such as balconies / railings / staircases / security doors / garage doors.

To carry out maintenance, make good/ repair metal items on site such as railings, steel doors chute hopper etc or any other items, as instructed.

Prepare and leave sites in good state, ensure sites are cordon off accordingly whilst working.

You should be well organised using your time efficiently, be communicative and lead a small team as required.

Co-ordinate with Mangers and/or work colleagues and report back any site issues or adaption that may be required

Complete all necessary documentation of works via mobile app, and or upload necessary images.

Liaise with the customer/client when necessary.
