Job Description
CMM Programmer / Quality Technician - Permanent, Northampton
EMBS Engineering is working in partnership with a fantastic, reputable precision engineering company that specialises in the design and manufacture of safety-critical, complex components for a number of lucrative industries, including Motorsport & Automotive.
Due to increased customer demands, our client is seeking a CMM Programmer / Quality Technician to join their business in Northampton on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities include:
* Set, operate and program CMM's using PCDMIs
* Manual quality inspection
* Carry out reviews on non-conforming parts
* Update quality documentation and records
* Creation of inspection reports
Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate:
* Previous Metrology / CMM background, held within a precision engineering environment
* Ability to set, operate & program CMM's using PC-DMIs software
* Strong quality knowledge / experience
* Knowledge of working on manual and digital measuring equipment including shadowgraphs, gauges, callipers etc.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Experience in working on small to medium sized, precision machined components

* Hours: 8am - 5pm Monday to Thursday, 8am - 2pm Friday
