Part 2 Architectural Assistant/ Newly Qualified Architect

Salary: £26-33,000 Dependant on experience
This role is with a prominent, employee-owned consultancy specialising in architecture, engineering, planning, and surveying within the built environment. With nearly 60 years of experience, it operates from offices in Bedford, Birmingham, and London, delivering pioneering and sustainable solutions across residential and commercial projects.

As a Part 2 Architectural Assistant or Newly Qualified Architect, you will support residential planning applications, create CAD drawings, prepare supporting documents, and present at meetings.
Skills Experience & Responsibilities for the role of Part 2 Architectural Assistant/ Newly Qualified Architect:
Part 2 qualified and/ or working toward your Part 3.
Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential; familiarity with software like Photoshop, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Cloud is desirable.
Knowledge of architectural practice or development and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
Strong understanding of the planning system and its applications.
Possession of RIBA Part 1, 2, or 3 qualification is preferred.
Excellent communication skills, with confidence in articulating ideas both independently and within a team.
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and produce high-quality work that aligns with project standards.
Adaptability and responsiveness to client and project needs, alongside a proactive, collaborative approach to design challenges.
Timely and high-quality delivery of drawings and documentation.
Effective communication and collaboration within the design team to ensure project success.
