Test Engineer - Network Testing

Job Description : We are seeking a detail-oriented Test Engineer with expertise in GSM, 4G, VoLTE, and 5G technologies to support technical product acceptance testing activities. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in software testing, project management, and maintaining close collaboration with customers, product teams, and technical leads to ensure high-quality software launches for mobile devices. Key Responsibilities : - Execute technical product acceptance testing activities in collaboration with product programs and the local test team. - Ensure good test coverage to support the quality launch of software for mobile devices. - Contribute to the test planning, execution, and reporting process to validate software reliability and performance. - Perform testing and validation for GSM, 4G, VoLTE, and 5G technologies. - Collaborate closely with test leads and extended test teams to ensure compliance with operator, regulator, and consumer requirements. - Evaluate device software performance under various network conditions to ensure optimal functionality. - Act as the project owner for device variants and software customization projects. - Work on customization requirements for specific customers, ensuring that device configurations meet technical and market needs. - Serve as the focal point for local customer requirements, including consumer feedback, operator needs, regulatory demands, and B2B sales requirements. - Maintain strong relationships with customers and product teams to ensure their needs are addressed effectively. - Coordinate technology roadmap sharing and communicate supported technologies to customers. - Support the test lead in aligning with global testing strategies. - Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test execution reports. - Communicate test outcomes, risks, and issues to stakeholders effectively. Required Skills and Competencies : - Strong expertise in GSM, 4G, VoLTE, and 5G technologies. - Hands-on experience with software testing in the mobile device industry. - Knowledge of mobile network protocols and performance testing tools. - Ability to assess software quality through systematic testing and issue identification. - Strong troubleshooting skills for identifying, isolating, and resolving technical issues.
