LIMS Developer

Job Description : 1. Thorough understanding of the QC Lab processes 2. Knowledge of GxP process 3. Proficient in Labware LIMS & ELN template designing and enhance process 4. Collaborate with business units and IT stakeholders to ensure system reliability, security and continuous improvement. 5. Experience in instrument integration with LIMS application and other enterprise applications. 6. Consistent track record of delivering projects with stringent timelines and sprints. Key Responsibilities : - LIMS Configuration and Development : Customize and develop LIMS modules, workflows, and functionalities to meet specific business and laboratory requirements. - System Integration : Design and implement integrations between LIMS and other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, ELN, instruments). - Database Management : Develop and optimize database schemas, queries, and data handling processes within the LIMS. - User Support : Work closely with laboratory teams to gather requirements, provide training, and ensure smooth adoption of the system. - Troubleshooting and Maintenance : Diagnose and resolve technical issues, perform system upgrades, and maintain system documentation. - Compliance and Validation : Ensure LIMS complies with regulatory standards such as GLP, GxP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, and ISO. - Reporting and Analytics : Develop custom reports, dashboards, and data visualization tools to support data-driven decision-making. Qualifications : Technical Expertise : - Experience with popular LIMS platforms (e.g., LabWare, STARLIMS, LabVantage). - Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or C#, and experience with scripting languages for LIMS customization. - Proficiency in SQL and database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL). - Knowledge of web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs. Experience : - 3 years of experience developing and implementing LIMS solutions in a laboratory environment. - Familiarity with laboratory processes in industries such as pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or clinical diagnostics. Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. A background in Life Sciences or Chemistry is a plus. Soft Skills : - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams. - Attention to detail and commitment to quality and compliance.
