Background : The Data team at PRTH is responsible for building next generation data and information solutions across our Payment and Banking solutions. We have an incredible staff of architects, Quality engineers, analysts, data scientists, and data engineers that align to execute on our vision. Quality Engineers at PRTH are responsible for ensuring quality for all the data ingestion as well as consumption frameworks leveraged across all the products. Responsibilities : - End to end testing for data pipelines (ingestion into analytical databases) and consumption frameworks - Developing test plans, Test strategy documentation , documenting bugs and sharing QA Status Report to the management. - Provide planning, construction, and execution of automated test scripts. - Work closely with the stakeholders to understand the requirements to design and execute test cases. - Identifying software problems and raising/tracking defects Requirements : - Create test strategies to ensure that data stored in the analytics platform is accurate and reliable. - Develop test cases to analyze/compare the source and target of the data pipelines - Ensure that the data is delivered with the expected format and structure(transformations). - Review and recommend improvements to existing data pipelines and QA processes. - Develop new testing tools and processes to achieve desired data quality. - Implement continuous process improvements to enhance testing efficiency. - Maintain the automated test environment and perform tests based on the time taken for the data flow. - Analyze test results and support developers in bug fixing activities. - Maintain QA documentation and generate test reports for management. - Provide support in the design, development, and production phases of data projects. - Performance testing - Agile Methodology experience Must Have : Good SQL Knowledge , Datawarehousing Solutions Experience , Data Testing Experience Good to Have : Snowflake , Python , AWS (ref:hirist.tech)
