Job Description : ServiceNow Developer (UI Experience) Position : ServiceNow Developer (UI Specialist) Experience : 5 Years Location : Multiple Locations Notice Period : Immediate to 30 Days Role Overview : We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer with a strong focus on UI development to design and implement dynamic, user-friendly interfaces in the ServiceNow platform. The candidate should be adept in leveraging ServiceNow UI components and proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to deliver high-quality user experiences. Key Responsibilities : UI Design & Development : - Develop intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces using ServiceNow UI components, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. - Customize and enhance ServiceNow modules to improve the end-user experience. ServiceNow Configuration & Customization : - Configure ServiceNow forms, lists, workflows, and UI actions. - Customize ServiceNow applications using client scripts, business rules, and other scripting techniques. Integration & Collaboration : - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze UI/UX requirements. - Ensure seamless integration of UI components with backend ServiceNow modules and workflows. Quality Assurance : - Conduct thorough testing of UI features to ensure functionality, responsiveness, and adherence to design specifications. - Troubleshoot and resolve UI-related issues and bugs. Best Practices & Documentation : - Adhere to coding standards and best practices in ServiceNow development. - Document design, development, and deployment processes for future reference and knowledge sharing. Required Skills : Technical Expertise : - Hands-on experience with ServiceNow UI components. - Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. - Expertise in ServiceNow customization and scripting (e.g., Client Scripts, Business Rules, UI Scripts). ServiceNow Knowledge : - Familiarity with the ServiceNow platform, including modules like ITSM, ITOM, and CMDB (preferred). - Experience with ServiceNow workflows, forms, and service portal customization. UI/UX Skills : - Understanding of responsive and user-friendly design principles. - Ability to transform business requirements into visually appealing and functional UI designs. Additional Skills (Preferred) : - Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs and their integration within ServiceNow. - Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies. (ref:hirist.tech)
