Job Description
We are looking for a proactive Application Support Engineer to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 6 years of experience and will play a crucial role in providing technical support for software applications, ensuring smooth operations, and resolving issues efficiently. Key Responsibilities : - Provide comprehensive technical support for enterprise-level applications. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software applications and systems. - Work closely with development teams to ensure seamless application performance. - Monitor and manage application performance to ensure service-level agreements (SLAs) are met. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address technical challenges and ensure timely issue resolution. - Perform regular system health checks and recommend enhancements to improve performance. - Document issue resolution processes and create user guides to prevent recurring issues. - Handle incident management and service requests in a timely and professional manner. Required Skills : - 2-6 years of experience in Application Support or a similar role. - Strong knowledge of application troubleshooting and support. - Familiarity with SQL databases, Linux/Unix environments, and scripting is a plus. - Experience with ticketing systems and providing client support. - Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with internal teams and customers. - Analytical and problem-solving skills with a customer-centric approach. Preferred Qualifications : - BE/B.Tech/MCA Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar relevant fields. (ref:hirist.tech)
