JavaScript Test Engineer - Automation Testing

Job Title : Java Script Testing Location : Bangalore Experience Required : 5-8 Years Mandatory Skills : JavaScript, Wido, RestAss Job Summary : As a JavaScript Testing Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts using JavaScript frameworks like Wido and RestAssured. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of web applications. This role requires strong expertise in test automation, with a focus on JavaScript, Wido, and RestAssured for writing scalable and maintainable test scripts. Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and execute comprehensive automated test scripts using JavaScript, Wido, and RestAssured to validate web application functionality, performance, and security. - Write and maintain reusable test scripts and frameworks to ensure efficient and effective test execution. - Collaborate with development teams to understand application requirements and translate them into robust test cases. - Perform thorough regression, integration, and end-to-end testing to identify and resolve defects early in the development cycle. - Execute test cases across different browsers and environments to ensure cross-browser compatibility. - Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and provide detailed reports to the development team. - Log, track, and verify defects using bug tracking tools, providing clear and concise descriptions. - Collaborate with development teams to resolve identified defects promptly. - Continuously improve the test automation framework by introducing new tools, techniques, and best practices. - Optimize test scripts for performance and maintainability. - Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in software testing. Required Skills and Experience : - Strong proficiency in JavaScript programming language - In-depth knowledge of Wido and RestAssured frameworks - Experience in designing and implementing test automation frameworks - Understanding of web application architecture and protocols (HTTP, REST) - Experience with testing methodologies and best practices - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills - Excellent communication and collaboration skills - Experience with version control systems (Git) - Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
