Aiprus Software is looking for an experienced Platform Engineer to join our data team This role will involve developing and maintaining infrastructure, building CI/CD pipelines, managing Snowflake environments, and collaborating across teams to enhance platform performance. Role : Data Platform Engineer Location : Remote. Experience : 5 years. Key Responsibilities : - Python Scripting & Automation. - Proficient in Python for building data pipelines, automation, and integration. - Create, optimize, and maintain Python scripts to streamline tasks, support data integration, and monitor infrastructure. CI/CD Pipeline Development : - Expertise in CI/CD tools, especially Git and Azure DevOps. - Design and manage scalable CI/CD pipelines to support continuous software integration and deployment. - Work with development teams to streamline workflows and ensure smooth releases. Collaboration & Troubleshooting : - Experience in a cross-functional environment is essential. - Partner with software, data engineering, and DevOps teams to troubleshoot platform issues, ensuring optimal performance and security. Snowflake Administration : - Proficient with cloud databases (Snowflake experience is a plus). - Oversee database security, user management, monitoring, and maintenance to ensure optimal data performance. Airflow for Task Automation : - Knowledgeable in Apache Airflow or similar managed workflows. - Implement event-based automations and enable parallel task execution using Airflow. Preferred Skills : - Architecture and Systems Integration : Understanding of system integration, network, and security principles. - AWS Services : Familiarity with EC2, S3, Lambda, IAM, and cloud infrastructure. - Terraform : Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform is advantageous. - Cloud ETL Tools : Experience with cloud-native ETL tools like dbt, Informatica Cloud, etc. , is a plus. Qualifications : - Proven experience with CI/CD development and Snowflake administration. - Strong Python skills for automation and data processes. - AWS and Terraform familiarity is a plus. - Strong analytical skills and a collaborative mindset.
