Expectations/ Requirements : You'll ensure that : - Data remains consistent across the database, data is clearly defined - Users access data concurrently, in a form that suits their needs - There is provision for data security and recovery control (ensuring all data is retrievable in an emergency). Superpowers/ Skills that will help you succeed in this role : 1. 4-5 years of experience working as a MySQL DBA with a focus on AWS RDS and Aurora MySQL. 2. Strong hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, EBS, S3, CloudWatch, IAM, and Snapshots. 3. Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries, stored procedures, and performing database schema management. 4. Experience with database performance monitoring and tuning using tools like Performance Insights, CloudWatch, or third-party monitoring tools. 5. Proficient in backup, restore, and disaster recovery strategies in AWS environments. 6. Hands on working expertise in Managing AWS Cloud Infrastructure, Elastic Load balancing, Auto Scaling Group, Prod system maintenance with proper planning, excellent debugging skills. Why join us : 1.
