Job Title : Manual QA Tester Location : Indore, India Work Schedule : 6 Days a Week, Strictly Work from Office Job Description : We are seeking a detail-oriented Manual QA Tester to join our dynamic team in Indore. As a Manual QA Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will be responsible for executing test cases, identifying bugs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance our applications. Key Responsibilities : - Test Planning & Design : Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on software requirements and technical specifications. Ensure all scenarios are covered to maintain product integrity. - Test Execution : Perform manual testing across various platforms and devices. Execute test cases, document results, and track defects in a timely manner. - Defect Management : Identify, report, and track defects using our bug tracking system. Work closely with developers to facilitate the resolution of identified issues. - Collaboration : Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide feedback on usability and functionality. - Documentation : Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, test results, and defect logs. Ensure all documentation is up to date and accessible. - Regression Testing : Conduct regression tests to ensure that new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionality. - Continuous Improvement : Participate in QA process improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices for testing. Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - Proven experience in manual testing, preferably in a software development environment. - Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices. - Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and defect reports. - Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla) and test management software. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
