Job Description

Job Responsibilities Collect all equipment / piping data required for assessment. Define data required from other team members, defining assumptions. Data population. Assess effectiveness of past inspections with the help of field inspection engineer. Evaluate Probability and Consequence of Failure. Assess risk for each Damage Mechanism and finalize risk assessment. Generate Recommendations to mitigate Damage Mechanisms. Display assessment results in approved format and prepare a report. Recommend inspections and get the report reviewed and approved by involved authorities. Recommend proper inspection techniques. Evaluate potential degradation mechanisms to be considered for the involved assets with the support of Corrosion Engineer. Manage Asset Integrity Team in terms of activities and resources (about 4 persons). Experience The seniority required is about 4-5 years. Ability to read technical documentation, such as P&IDs/PFDs/MSDs. Familiar with Data Sheets and Heat & Material Balances. Ability to understand an Inspection Report. Knowledge of Corrosion Phenomena and Damage Mechanisms. Knowledge of corrosion and degradation mechanisms affecting upstream and refining industry (API 571 certification will be considered a plus). Knowledge of API-580/581 principles (API 580 certifications will be considered a plus). Basic knowledge of integrity management methodologies (including RBI, PIM, FFS, etc.) and experience in their application. Good knowledge of written and spoken English. Education Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
