To strengthen our compliance and certification efforts, we are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Certification Coordinator to support the management and maintenance of our certifications’ schemes, such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 28000, ISO 50001, SA8000, IFS-HPC, and any additional standards owned by customers that are parts of commercial agreements. This role is crucial in ensuring that our processes and products meet international standards, supporting our reputation for excellence. Location: Lucca Contract: Part time About the Role The Certification Coordinator will play a key role in managing compliance with quality, environmental, and safety standards across our operations. This is a part-time, but permanent role responsible for supporting ongoing certification processes, assisting with audits, monitoring standards compliance, and providing guidance to teams on certification requirements. Reporting to the Site Manager, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and promote a culture of continuous improvement. What You Will Do Coordinate the Integrated Management System (IMS) Certification process and be the coordinator of the Certifications’ Leaders. Support Certification Maintenance: Assist in the coordination and maintenance of existing certifications, ensuring that company practices align with required standards for quality, safety, and the environment. Audit Planning and Scheduling: Prepare the internal and external audit plan for the year; be in contact with certification bodies as well as with customer representatives of the standards owned by customers; prepare inquiries to get offers, execute bids comparisons, manage orders, and approve invoices. Audit support: Prepare documentation and gather data for internal and external audits, supporting the audit process by liaising with relevant departments and ensuring that standards are met. Documentation and System Updates: Update certification documentation and system records to reflect changes in processes and standards, ensuring compliance with all required standard requirements and internal as well as external procedures and national or international law. Employee Training Support: Assist in organizing training sessions on certification requirements and compliance protocols, fostering awareness and adherence to quality standards across departments. Monitoring and Reporting: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to certified processes, and provide data-driven insights to support continuous improvement initiatives. Non-Conformity Resolution: Identify non-conformities in processes or documentation, coordinating corrective and preventive actions in collaboration with team members. Keep the Non-Conformities managing system updated. Customer Reference: Act as the contact point for the commercial group for any customer requirements in terms of certifications. For specific customers, serve as the direct point of contact (e.g., for sustainability, energy-related topics). Lead yearly Management Reviews with the Italy Leadership team. Who You Are Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Environmental Science, or a related field. Knowledge of Certification Standards: Familiarity with ISO standards (such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) and other relevant industry certifications. Attention to Detail: Strong ability to maintain accurate records, monitor compliance, and identify areas for improvement. Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and support audits, documentation, and compliance activities effectively. Communication Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills for coordinating activities with various departments and providing training support. Experience in Quality Management: Prior experience in quality management, compliance, or certification support is a plus.
