Location: Bologna Date: Oct 21, 2024 Requisition ID: 1551722 Our high profile International Tax e Transactions Services (ITTS) group based within our Bologna office is looking for a Senior Consultant to join the team. EY’s International Transaction Tax services (ITTS) practice works with multinational and domestic entities to design transaction strategies that meet their business, operational and financial objectives. The ITTS practice is a trusted business advisor to domestic and multinational corporate and private equity clients on, among other services, mergers and acquisitions, integrations, internal restructurings, divestitures and capital markets transactions. We are looking for a highly motivated, ambitious, enthusiastic tax profile who is looking for a challenging career. The opportunity This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and ambitious individual to join EY’s specialist ITTS teams. The teams help support and deliver international tax advice for their clients across Italy and abroad. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to work with both clients and all of the EY local offices, providing a great opportunity to build and expand your corporate network. Your key responsibilities Build and maintain tax relationships with clients and provide high levels of client services: Build relationships both within the firm and externally with clients, identifying opportunities and managing expectations; Contribute to winning new work by proactively managing existing clients and contribute to winning new clients; Manage the successful delivery of tax projects, ensuring technical excellence and practical/business driven approach; Being a key member of one of the client service groups providing full tax services to a client portfolio. Skills and attributes for success: A previous (2 years/5 years) experience in private equity and M&A, with emphasis on international tax structuring and due diligence at a professional organization, law firm or in-house; Excellent English oral and written skills; Ability to build strong client relationships; Excellent communicator in a range of situations both written and oral; Ability to identify areas of risk, carry out an effective review and know when to refer upwards; Relationship management skills with ability to manage client expectations; Team player with ability to build effective relationships at all levels; Project management skills, plan and prioritise work, meet deadlines.
