Junior Piping Engineer

We are looking for a Junior Piping Engineer for our Welding and Piping Workshop in Sanguinaro (PR). The Specialist is responsible for managing the discipline activity and project team, ensuring that corporate and project procedures are correctly implemented, and that project deliverables are issued according to the schedule and within the approved budget. Duties and Responsibilities: Prepare technical specifications including applicable standards, if not included in the contract technical documentation; Attendance to Project Meetings (kick-off and project review meetings) as well as meetings with the Client, if requested by PEM; Act as checker and/or approver for all Discipline deliverables (specifications, datasheets, drawings, reports, etc.); Verify the engineering documents of Subcontractor and Vendor; Examine the contractual Vendor List with the Procurement Department; Provide progress reporting and forecasting input to the Project Controls Department; Ensure deliverables quality in terms of technical content, compliance with design criteria, international standards, and contractual requirements; Monitor design discrepancies between detail phase and bidding phase (quantities and equipment dimensions); Develop the 3D Model specific area and support the 3D Model Coordinator (Smart Plant Specialist) according to the 3D Model Procedure; Provide technical support during bidding phase and man-hours estimation; Consolidate knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of Piping Engineering, 3D Model, stress Analysis, Layout, and accurate competencies of techniques and tools; Requirements: Bachelor's degree or diploma in engineering disciplines; Good knowledge of English.
