Job Description

As an attorney with the Commercial Legal team, you will play a key role in supporting Salesforce’s Latin America Sales and Professional Services organizations in structuring commercial transactions and drafting and negotiating commercial agreements for our private and public sector customers. The position will be based in Sao Paulo, Brazil and requires an individual who is fluent in English and Portuguese and/or Spanish.


Responsibilities:
  1. Negotiate and draft master subscription, professional services, and other types of agreements with customers in support of Latin America Sales and Professional Services organizations.
  2. Partner with revenue recognition, sales operations, pricing organizations, technology operations, and other stakeholder teams to ensure agreements are consistent with internal corporate policies and processes.
  3. Partner with Sales and other internal business constituents throughout the customer lifecycle to ensure customer success and protection of Salesforce.
  4. Ensure negotiations are conducted in line with our core values of trust and transparency.

Required Skills/Experience:
  1. Fluent in English and Portuguese and/or Spanish.
  2. At least 5 years of combined experience in law firm and/or in-house legal department.
  3. Experience negotiating and drafting technology agreements.
  4. Excellent written/verbal communication and negotiation skills.
  5. Highly responsive and service-oriented attitude.
  6. Ability to organize, prioritize and manage deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
  7. Ability to maintain strong working relationships with internal clients and peers.
  8. Familiarity with, or willingness to learn, technical concepts in Web applications.
  9. Sound and practical business judgment.

Desired Skills/Experience:
  1. Substantive expertise in software as a service transactions.
  2. Substantive experience with Latin America technology contract negotiations.
  3. Good understanding of Latin America regulatory environment for SaaS industry.
  4. Experience negotiating and drafting agreements with public sector entities.
  5. Trilingual in English, Portuguese, and Spanish.
