About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced multi-skilled Engineer with an Electrical Bias to join our team. You will provide a comprehensive maintenance service, covering both electrical and mechanical disciplines, for a range of clients. Your role will involve both reactive and proactive maintenance to ensure the optimal performance of all operational equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform modifications and installations as required.
- Maintain, repair, and calibrate electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation plant to enhance reliability and maintainability.
- Ensure all key performance indicators are met.
- Liaise with contractors and external suppliers when necessary.
- Complete required paperwork and produce accurate, timely reports.
- Adhere to high standards of work in line with company policies and procedures.
- Report any deficiencies in systems or equipment that could impact service delivery, health and safety, or the environment.
- Ensure all work, including that of supervised personnel, is completed safely and diligently.
Ideal Candidate:
- Holds an NVQ Level 3 qualification in Engineering Maintenance (multidiscipline) or equivalent.
- Has up-to-date training and a strong knowledge of building statutory compliance.
- Demonstrates responsibility for maintaining a safe working environment in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act (1974).
- can read and understand technical drawings.
- Possesses excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Suitable training will be provided to ensure competency in required skills.
