Job Description

Our Fabulous EV/ Hybrid Vehicle Manufacturing Client require an Aftermarket Product Engineer (32-40K) with a BEng Mechanical Engineer or Electrical Engineer degree. As an Electrical Engineer/ Mechanical Engineer you will Troubleshoot and deal with challenging Vehicle issues whilst liaising with dealers. Role comes with superb holidays and benefits as well as long term career prospects and personal training & progression. Office/ factory based. 2 Days working from home. The Role: Deal With Challenging Problems related to Vehicles whilst liaising with Dealers World-Wide. Carry out remote diagnostics and provide technical Support Support Mechanical & Electrical Powertrains, electronic systems, software and control systems Work closely with Hardware & Software Design teams whilst recommending improvements on existing ranges and launching new products and concepts - testing and validation. Product Improvement activities include Redesign, Manufacturing Improvement & Supplier Quality. Review 3D Models and work closely with the Engineering Design Dept. The Person: You'll be interested in becoming a Product Specialist and working closely with Design and Continuous Improvement teams providing solutions on latest vehicle ranges You will have a BEng Mechanical or Electrical or equivalent You will have experience in trouble shooting & Fault finding Ability to read drawings - electrical and hydraulic ideal.
