Our Fabulous Manufacturing Client require an Automation Engineer (40-55K) / Electrical Design Engineer to join a thriving Automation team. As an Electrical Design Engineer/ Automation Engineer you will design develop and test PLC software & Control Systems for hybrid electric vehicles. The Role Design PLC Software Control Systems within a purpose-built R&D centre. Utilise the latest Vehicle battery powered technologies Test assembly methods and materials and carry out market research Test new vehicle ranges/ control systems, minimising human error on prototypes Identify control system problems and implement solutions The Person You will have an electrical degree or strong hands-on electrical experience to replace You will have strong electrical PLC Software design skills Ability to read electrical drawings Knowledge of Siemens, Allen Bradley, Codesys or similar In return our Client will provide you with a career for life within an exciting R&D environment.
