DevOps Engineer

X 3 POSITIONS (x1 SENIOR & 2x MID-SENIORS) - Salaries Upto £80K (1 a week in Manchester)

Our client is an established tech business in the North West, with a great service offering and a solid reputation across the UK!

We're recruiting on their behalf for a brand new DevOps team! Join abrand-new teamand make a direct impact on shaping the future of modern infrastructure and processes.

First 6-12 months will focus to address technical debt, establish DevOps practices, and support the Development team in all aspects around pipelines & automation. The team will be responsible for establishing these DevOps practices & driving this change,

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using YAML for automation, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Oversee cloud infrastructure management with AWS and Kubernetes (EKS), leveraging tools like CloudFormation.
• Drive automation using C#/.NET, JavaScript, and TypeScript for operational tools and platform development.

Key Projects:

• Modernizing infrastructure and refactoring processes to improve workflows.
• Developing new CI/CD pipelines
• Long term plans to develop SRE strategy once functions have matured.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in CI/CD pipeline management and best practices.
• Experience in AWS and Kubernetes infrastructure lifecycle management..
• Knowledge of monitoring tools and operational process improvements.
