Sales Executive (Events & Weddings)

Job Description
JOB LOCATION: Muthu Clumber Park Hotel & Spa, Worksop, England.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Builds and strengthens relationships with existing and future bookings. Activities include sales calls, identifying new markets, entertainment, organising and attending wedding fayre and networking events etc.
2. Responsible for coordinating and implementing all aspects of social and wedding events to ensure successful events.
3, Relationship building with all the current and prospective customers.
4. Establish strong partnerships between the field and hotel and commercial team by maintaining a productive dialog and exchange of ideas.
5. Manages and develops relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
6. Professionally conduct routine telemarketing and outside hotel sales activities to identify new clients for social and corporate events.
7. Responsible for maintaining and updating weddings and Events tracker.
8. Interacts with travel agencies, corporate and direct guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service level and escalate to Sales Head and Hotels GMs.
9. Submit monthly and weekly sales plans and market analyses (monthly) as well as daily sales/activity reports.
10. Attends and contributes to all meetings as required.
11. Handles guest enquiry in a courteous and efficient manner, reporting complaints or problems if no immediate solution can be found, whilst feeding back a prompt follow-up.
12. Conducts hotels site inspection when on site PREFERRED REQUIREMENT:-
1. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar capacity with proven track records.
2. Communication and marketing skills.
3. Highly Organized.
4. Approach problems with open-mindedness, generate innovative ideas and solutions, stimulate creativity and innovation in others.
5. Multi-tasker
6. Good time management.
7. Proficiency in various event software.
8. Highly responsible & reliable.
9. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal required.
