Job Description

The key responsibilities of this role include the following:
  • Oversee the day-to-day accounting and financial operations of assigned funds.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with the investment team to analyze fund performance and contribute to strategic decision-making.
  • Manage the budgeting and forecasting process for funds.
  • Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits.
  • Develop and maintain effective internal controls and procedures.
  • Assist in the preparation of investor reports and presentations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in fund accounting.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will possess the following qualities:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience
  • CPA preferred but not required
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and regulatory frameworks.
  • Proficient in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, accounting software).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
