Job Description
Experience with Plan for Every Part (PFEP) and Material replenishment.
Developing internal packaging requirements Updating EPSA (Client's internal system to communicate packaging requirements to suppliers)
Designing returnable racks for part delivery between suppliers and the factory Managing returnable racks for the Decatur Campus – including audits, loop sizing, and repair Supporting the India team with POs for the repack of material at our external repack vendor (approximately 1286 POs currently).
Managing feedback to our suppliers for packaging improvements in quality, cost, delivery Coordinating of rack repairs and new rack purchases.
Material flow Analysis from Dock to POU. Parts line side presentation, Rack/ Floor/ Kit parts Analysis, Material Replenishment strategy development.
Work with Material planners on Material shortages/ Line downs/ Hot trucking to minmize down time.
Note: Experience working on shop floor environment as Logistics Engineer and preferably local candidates. Logistics planning, Material Racks set up, Floor parts/ Container set up, Kitting, Material flow improvement, PFEP (Plan for Every part), Material container optimization, Material replenishment, Material replenishment types (Kanban, Kitting etc.)
