DevOps Architect - CI/CD Pipeline

Job Title : DevOps Architect. Job Summary : We are seeking a skilled DevOps Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of software development, system operations, and the tools and processes that support a DevOps culture. As a DevOps Architect, you will design, implement, and manage the infrastructure and tools needed for our development and operations teams to effectively deliver high-quality software. Key Responsibilities : - Design and Implement Infrastructure, Developscalable and secure architecture solutions for deployment, monitoring, and orchestration. - Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline code releases. - Evaluate and recommend DevOps tools and technologies based on organizational needs. - Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery. - Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment processes. - Should be able to plan Disaster Recovery, Redundant solutioning for seamless flow of data. - Implement robust monitoring and logging solutions to ensure high availability and performance of applications and infrastructure. - Incorporate security best practices into the DevOps processes, including identity management, access controls, and vulnerability assessments. - Troubleshoot deployment and infrastructure issues, providing rapid solutions. - Identify and implement performance improvements for applications and infrastructure. - Creates and maintains comprehensive documentation for infrastructure processes, and best practices. - Lead training and workshops on DevOps best practices and toolsets for internal teams. - Lead incident response and root cause analysis for production issues, ensuring swift resolution and prevention of future occurrences. - Stay updated with emerging DevOps trends and incorporate relevant innovations into the company's processes. Required Qualifications : - Education : Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology or a related field. - Experience : Minimum of 10 years of experience in a DevOps role, with at least 4 years in a leadership or architect position. Technical Skills : - Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. - Experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes. - Hands-on experience of CI/CD tools (ie., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, Azure DevOps, AWS DevOps, GCP DevOps). - Familiarity with configuration management tools (i.e., Ansible, Puppet, Chef). - Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies and associated instruments. - Proficiency in scripting languages (i.e., Python, Bash, PowerShell). - Experience with monitoring and logging tools (i.e., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack). Soft Skills : - Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to work in high-pressure environments. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for collaboration with cross-functional teams. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Preferred Certifications and Skills : - Certifications : Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solution Architect/Azure Solution Architect, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), etc. - Advanced Skills : Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IAC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. - Knowledge : Familiarity with microservices architecture and serverless computing.
