SAP ABAP/HANA Consultant

The SAP ABAP developer works alongside the other ABAP developers and functional developers, possibly handling multiple pieces of work simultaneously, alongside ad-hoc support queries. They must work with the development team as peers and be able to communicate effectively with customers. The ABAP developer should be able to organize their time effectively on a daily and weekly basis, reporting and requesting assistance as required. The ABAP developer should be able to work independently to achieve current aims either over a fixed period of time or a specific piece of project work and should be able to prioritize effort on that basis. They will receive direction for other decision-making. - Good experience of working on a highly customized SAP system. - Broad knowledge of SAP functional areas particularly FI-CO, FICA, CRM, SD - Develop custom ABAP enhancements to products - Strong technical knowledge of ABAP coding standards - Able to manage highly confidential information in a strictly professional manner Responsibilities : - Develop and optimize applications using SAP ABAP on HANA. - Collaborate with functional teams to implement technical solutions. - Create custom reports, interfaces, and enhancements. - Debug and resolve ABAP issues while ensuring system performance. - Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices. - ABAP er with at least 5-8 years of experience - Developed ABAP solutions as per the design document requirements - Experience in developing ALV reports, Forms (Adobe Forms & Smart forms), Interfaces (IDOCs) and enhancements - Good in object-oriented programming. - Basic knowledge in S4 HANA ABAP - Strong Debugging skills - Strong analytical skills and ability to write technical specifications - Ability to work independently - Basic Knowledge in SAP Finance Module - Demonstrated experience working and delivering multiple projects (sometimes concurrently) involving cross functional/ Technical teams.
