Robotics Engineer

Ginger Partners is hiring for an Automotive Industry based in Bangalore. Position : Robotics Engineer Location : Bangalore Job Summary : We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Robotics Engineer to play a critical role in the development and deployment of end-to-end autonomous driving algorithms for vehicles. This role involves working across core areas such as localization, sensor fusion, calibration, control systems, and sensor interfacing. Key Responsibilities : - Develop advanced localization software for precise vehicle positioning in diverse environments using GPS-RTK, AHRS, and other technologies. - Ensure synchronized, high-performance multi-sensor data integration, including cameras and LiDARs. - Test and validate systems across various environmental conditions to ensure robustness. - Design and optimize data logging systems for performance. - Build and automate internal tools for multi-sensor calibration (intrinsic and extrinsic parameters). - Develop and refine control algorithms for autonomous vehicle navigation. - Conduct rigorous testing of control algorithms in simulations and real-world scenarios. - Validate end-to-end models on Drive-by-Wire (DbW) vehicles. Required Skills : - Proficiency in Robot Operating System (ROS) and associated tools (e.g., RViz, Gazebo, ROS2). - Strong command of C++ for real-time systems, with experience in OOP and modern programming. - Expertise in Python for prototyping, data analysis, and scripting. - Understanding of theoretical robotics principles like coordinate systems and transformations. - Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications : - 2-5 years of experience in robotics or autonomous vehicle technology. - Familiarity with SLAM, machine learning, and computer vision. - Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts effectively.
