Quality Assurance Engineer - Functional/Regression Testing

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer with hands-on experience in test automation using Selenium and Python. In this role, you will design, develop, and execute automated tests to ensure software quality and deliver seamless user experiences. You will collaborate closely with the development and product teams to define testing strategies, identify defects, and drive continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities : - Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium and Python. - Design and implement test plans, test cases, and test frameworks for functional and regression testing. - Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define testing scope. - Identify, document, and track software defects in a bug-tracking system. - Ensure test environments are set up and maintained properly. - Perform integration, system, and end-to-end testing of web and mobile applications. - Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements to integrate automated testing. - Analyze test results, generate detailed reports, and provide feedback to the development team. - Continuously evaluate and recommend tools, techniques, and processes to improve test automation efficiency. Skills and Qualifications : Required : - 5 years of experience in software testing and automation. - Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver and Python for test automation. - Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes. - Experience with API testing (using tools like Postman or REST Assured). - Familiarity with version control systems such as Git. - Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CircleCI). - Experience working in an Agile development environment. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Preferred : - Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner). - Knowledge of behavior-driven development (BDD) frameworks like Cucumber or Behave. - Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. - Hands-on experience with mobile application testing using tools like Appium. - ISTQB or equivalent certification in software testing.
