Job Summary : We are seeking an experienced Lead SDET with a strong background in automation testing using Java, RestAssured, JavaScript, and Playwright. The ideal candidate will lead the QA efforts, drive automation strategies, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. This role involves collaborating closely with development teams and stakeholders to maintain robust, scalable, and efficient test frameworks. Roles & Responsibilities : - Lead and mentor a team of SDETs to ensure testing excellence. - Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks using Java and JavaScript. - Automate API testing using RestAssured and UI testing using Playwright. - Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to understand requirements and define test strategies. - Drive end-to-end testing, including functional, integration, regression, and performance testing. - Identify, track, and report defects, ensuring timely resolution. - Optimize test scripts and automation frameworks for efficiency and scalability. - Stay updated on emerging testing technologies and trends to continuously improve testing processes. Professional & Technical Skills : Must-Have Skills : - Proficiency in Java and JavaScript. - Hands-on experience with RestAssured for API automation. - Expertise in Playwright for UI automation. - Strong understanding of testing methodologies and best practices. Good-To-Have Skills : - Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions. - Familiarity with performance testing tools. - Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies. Additional Information : - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Strong leadership and communication skills to guide the team and interact with stakeholders effectively.
