Job Description

Primary contact for providing day-to-day support for all Operative ad serving publisher clients (Doubleclick for Publishers). Calls/screen-share with clients when necessary for more complex issues.

General Responsibilities:

1. General training on anything DFP-related (trafficking, reporting, ad tags, ad units, add-on features such as Audience).


2. Network setup/consultation (hands-on ad unit setup, providing guidance on taxonomy, tag generation, testing ad units, setting up test line items, best practices, etc).


3. AdX Support: Setting up AdX (end to end), creating tags in AdX, setting up all rules, blocking ad categories, traffic in DFP.


4. Updating floors.


5. Providing reporting (mostly ad hoc / some are automated).


6. Setting up preferred deals: Ramp up (start with no floors, slowly raise over weeks).


7. Support Services, Account Management, and Finance on billing questions, client calls, and investigations.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. 3 years of ad operations experience in a client-facing role.


2. Expert level knowledge of DFP Premium and ad serving in general.


3. Proficient in AdX.


4. Strong complex problem-solving skills.


5. Ability to work independently, with little direction (able to troubleshoot unknown problems via Google/help guides).


6. Familiar with web debuggers (Charles, Fiddler, Google Dev Tools).


7. Basic HTML, JavaScript understanding.


8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Knowledge of third-party ad servers such as Atlas, Sizmek, etc.


2. Project management (i.e., managing a smaller client's taxonomy update).


3. Basic knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and XML.


4. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Advanced formulas, Pivot tables, etc).


5. Familiarity with SalesForce or other case management tools.
