Job Description
Sell delegate places to senior level real estate executives for our exclusive global events. Contribute towards the commercial strategy for the events. Ensure that all data is collected in a timely and accurate fashion, and incorporated into the CRM system correctly. Provide a regular pipeline report to chart your progress.
Develop an in-depth understanding of your markets and customers, with a focus on developing strong relationships as the foundation for everything that you do. Provide feedback and suggestions about customer segments to target. Report directly to the Project Director for your events and your Departmental Director for general performance and training.
Qualifications
- Degree (minimum).
- Engaged in current affairs.
- Knowledge of the real estate industry preferred but not essential.
- Superior computer literacy, creative and up to date with current technology.
The ideal candidate will be a bright, resourceful and self-motivated professional, with experience of sales (preferably within the context of the commercial conference industry) or a talent for and interest in selling. The role centres around the direct acquisition of high value customers for our global events.
The role offers high exposure to senior decision makers (mostly by phone, but also face-to-face including travel to our international events) and the opportunity to develop transferable commercial skills.
Fluency in written and spoken English, and for this vacancy fluency in Spanish is required.
