Job description:

You will serve as the academic director of the program. Your responsibility is to plan and develop the curriculum together with the program coordinator, to offer lectures and to supervise and support participants in academic matters relating to their studies.

You will build and maintain the international network of instructors and alumns. You will also be expected to take a leading role in further developing the program towards the department's strategic objectives.

The position is meant to provide you an opportunity to further develop your academic record by conducting independent research, including possibly pursuing the 'habilitation.' It is our ambition that, at the expiration of your contract, you will be well equipped and qualified to fill a professorial position at a leading university in Germany or abroad.

Requirements:

Academic university degree («Erste Juristische Prüfung» or Master) in a field related to the job

Doctoral degree in law

Desirable:

Full proficiency in English and good command of the German language

Focus on the study areas of the MBL-FU program

Commitment to academic instruction and research

Intercultural competence

Strong organizational and teamwork skills

Good IT skills
