Junior Engineer

For the successful Junior Engineer, our client is offering:

• £25,220 per annum
• Day position - Monday to Thursday 8.00 am to 17.15 pm - Friday 4.15 pm
• Permanent contract
• Every second Friday nonworking

The role - Junior Engineer:

• Provide first-line response by troubleshooting breakdowns on equipment and jigs to improve productivity
• Responsible for adopting lean principles to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and create a culture of continuous improvement
• Assisting with Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on automation equipment
• Supporting line layout changes
• Working to targets

What our client is looking for in a Junior Engineer:

• Educated to GCSE level with the motivation to undertake further education in an engineering qualification - ESSENTIAL
• Recently completed Engineering related qualifications, ideally Mechanical - HIGHLY DESIRABLE
• An excellent communicator at all levels with strong interpersonal skills,
• Computer literate with PC skills in Microsoft Office, focusing on using digital platforms.
• Well-organised with the ability to work independently and collaboratively to solve problems
