Business Development Executive - Hybrid
Location: North Wales
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 + OTE £45,000

Role Overview:
The company is seeking a dynamic Business Development Executive to join their team in a hybrid role based in Wrexham. The BDE will play a crucial role in driving business growth by identifying new market opportunities, optimising existing revenue streams, and developing strategic partnerships. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, finance, product development, and customer success, to create data-driven strategies that enhance customer acquisition and retention.

This position suits a proactive and analytical thinker with strong sales skills who can translate corporate business dynamics and market trends into actionable strategies for revenue growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Cold Calling: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Sales Prospecting: Hunt for new clients and manage the full sales cycle.
  • Event Networking: Attend industry events to network and promote the company's offerings.
  • Negotiation & Presentation: Lead client negotiations and deliver compelling sales presentations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (marketing, finance, product development, customer success) to ensure alignment on strategies.
  • Target Achievement: Meet or exceed sales targets consistently.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales, solution consulting, or account management.
  • Strong sales prospecting and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • A natural salesperson with a hunter mentality and a proactive approach to generating leads.
  • Tech-savvy with experience in selling HR tech (desirable).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
