Management Accountant

Your new company

You will be working for a well-known UK-based restaurant chain with a dynamic finance team looking to grow further. They need a skilled Management Accountant to join their finance team and contribute to their financial planning and decision-making processes.

Your new role

• Prepare and analyse financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, budgets, cash flows, and variance analysis.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives and business planning.
• Provide detailed financial analysis and reports to senior management to aid in decision-making.
• Monitor and report on key financial metrics and performance indicators.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
• Conduct cost analysis and recommend cost-saving measures.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather and analyse financial data.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Assist with internal and external audits.

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience as a Management Accountant or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities
