Core Java Developer - Energy-as-a-Service

£50-70k | Remote role

We are excited to continue our partnership with an innovative GreenTech scale-up, in their search for the next generation of engineers to contribute to groundbreaking projects throughout the remainder of 2024 and into 2025. With a team of 40 engineers, this scale-up is dedicated to helping consumers adopt sustainable living practices at an affordable price.

In this role, you will engage in hands-on work, utilising your Core Java skills to develop multi-threaded applications and data structures. You'll also collaborate on various projects surrounding renewable energy, offering you the chance to work with the latest technologies on a truly meaningful product.

A great Core Java Developer will have:

  • 3+ years of commercial experience using Core Java
  • Understanding of low-level Java concepts (e.g proficiency in multi-threading and working in low-latency environments)
  • A passion for GreenTech and working for tech for good projects
  • University degree in Computer Science or related subject
