- A leading firm are looking for an ECM Associate with 4 Years’+ experience to join their Capital Markets team in London. This opportunity is only for those with real ambition and entrepreneurial drive – it’s for candidates who genuinely want Partnership and want to play a part in building an already established offering into a leading ECM practice active across a range of sectors.
- GENUINE PROGRESSION. This opportunity offers the best progression pathway I have seen in a long time. You will come in as the most senior non-partner fee earner in the team and the heir apparent for the next Partner role in the team. There will be nobody ahead of you for Partnership. You will make Partner here quicker than you would at any other leading firm – fact.
- GAIN A SPONSOR. You will work closely with a new Junior Partner who has just joined from a leading Firm in London. I know this Partner well as I was responsible for placing them at their current firm – at any firm you need a sponsor to achieve Partnership; this Partner is looking for their number 2 and wants to act as their sponsor. With them being a junior partner, they know what is important (and necessary) for associates / senior associates (proper access to existing clients and opportunities to build your own network, including support for business development initiatives at all levels) – they will give you all this and more, and also act as a mentor.
- JOIN A HIGHLY REGARDED, AMBITIOUS PRACTICE. This Capital Markets team has a client base stretching from the UK, through Europe, Asia and the Americas. It enjoys deep relationships within the advisory community in London and has clients listed on both the Main Stock Exchange and on AIM. This team has more AIM experience than most national and regional firms in the UK and acts for many of the leading nominated advisers and brokers in the City. You will therefore enjoy a unique mix of City and International work.
- AUTONOMY AND SUPPORT. You’ll be expected to run point on transactions, but will always have Partner support where required. And you’ll be doing real, important work – the team has a deep bench of junior associates to assist with the admin-heavy tasks which arise on deals together with a dedicated team of PSLs and a well-maintained precedent bank. You will not just be turning documents – from day 1 you will be regarded as a senior member of the team and your input valued highly.
