Role Description:
- Manage payroll processes for the Latin America region, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies.
- Handle payroll-related inquiries and provide support to employees regarding payroll issues.
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
- Maintain payroll records and ensure data integrity.
- Prepare and submit payroll reports as required.
Key Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Process payroll for employees in the Latin America region, including gross-to-net calculation, including but not limited to calculating wages, deductions, and taxes.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and tax regulations.
- Address and resolve payroll discrepancies and issues.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation.
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure seamless payroll operations.
- Prepare and submit payroll reports to management and regulatory authorities.
- Oversee multi-country payrolls.
Role Qualifications and Requirements:
- Fluent in English and Portuguese, both written and spoken.
- Several years of experience in payroll processing, preferably in a multinational company.
- Strong knowledge of local labor laws and tax regulations in Latin America.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
