Fleet Compliance / Health & SafetySupervisor

XPO is going through a period of change and were currently recruiting for our new Fleet Compliance / Health & SafetySupervisor. Youll be responsible for the management and audit of our fleet and operator licence compliance at our site in Hounslow

Pay, benefits and more:

Were looking to offer a salary of up to £35,000per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. Youll have access to a variety of high street discounts, as well as a cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension and many other perks.

What youll do on a typical day:

• Proven experience in compliance and accident investigations
• In-depth knowledge of the industry standards and regulations.
• Proven experience in record keeping and reporting procedures
• Responsible for company and external audit compliance
• Interviewing and investigation capable to ensure compliance
• Ensure legal and site policies and processes are being managed
• Actively promote a Health and Safety Culture at all times.
• Ensure all company policies and procedures are observed.
• Communicate as necessary with the Site Manager & Ops Manager, on all matters that may affect compliance levels or impact on other Site operations

What you need to succeed at XPO:

• An international CPC is preferred but not essential
• A proven track record of fleet compliance and experience in transport legislation
• Previous supervisory experience
• An analytical mind with the capability to be methodical and diligent
