Job overview and responsibilities
As a software developer in the Data Enablement team, you will be responsible for the development of mission critical applications, while working with a team of developers. This individual will build high performing, real-time middleware solutions in the extremely critical domains of Baggage, Flight Operations, Reservation Management and Check-in. You will play a large role in building data caches and real time messaging applications, used by operational and commercial systems across the company. Additionally, as a developer, you will build these applications with a focus on delivering cloud-based solutions. The individual will use leading edge technologies and enterprise grade integration software daily.

  • Participate in full development life cycle including requirements analysis and design
  • Serve as technical expert on development projects
  • Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements.
  • Support, maintain, and document software functionality
  • Identify and evaluate new technologies for implementation
  • Analyze code to find causes of errors and revise programs as needed
  • Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements
  • Consult with end user to prototype, refine, test, and debug programs to meet needs
  • Recognized as expert in field, knowledgeable of emerging trends and industry practices.
  • Conducts the most complex and vital work critical to the organization
  • Works without supervision with complete latitude for independent judgment
TIBCO Skillset: TIBCO Business Works (5.x, 6.x and CE), TIBCO EMS, TIBCO MFT, TIBCO GI, TIBCO Business Events, TIBCO Active Spaces, TIBCO Mashery, TIBCO Statistica, TIBCO Spotfire, TIBCO Compute DB.
Technical preferred Experience(5yr+): Software development and infrastructure (Servers, Storage, Networks, Databases, High-Availability, Scalability, Clustering, performance, Virtualization, Cloud Technologies), and integration. Java, Javascript, JSP, C, C++, PERL, ANT scripting, Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server, Websphere, Weblogic. Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments by exemplifying outstanding technical, analytical, management, and problem-solving skills.
