Job Description

What you will do:

-Is responsible to supervise the Traffic and Receiving/Storage and Shipping operations, also Import /export activities, take control of the documents, production material delivery, shipping and receiving windows, as well as maintain the stockroom and keep in good state the facilities.

-Commitment to Quality:

-Carry out timely the programs established for the activities mentioned above in the Responsibility Level.

-Comply with the guidelines and regulations for all Import /export and -Environmental Health & Safety.

How you will do it:

  • Supervise the products shipping for the customers, including the performing and register of data for the shipping documents (pick lists) and documents of system for international invoices, in case of being shipping to foreign customers.

  • Supervise the activities in the warehouse to assure the proper control of inventory material (including the cycle count program), receiving raw material and control of the Storage area as well as distribute material in the proper quantity and time to production cells.

  • Supervise the performing of the shipping process for the products to assure the required date of the customers’ order complying with all Import /export requiremenst and documentation.

  • Establish the maintenance and procedures and Safety dispositions that minimize the risk in work area.

  • Participate in the coordination of transportation to the USA Warehouse and all overseas shipments.Inlcuding the proper tracking of all shipments done to validate correct invoicing for service used.

  • Supervise all personnel with in the Warehouse actiivties for receiving, storage, delivery to areas and shipping to assure full utilization of resources.

  • Assure all Import/Export activities from coordination in operations of the customs documentation.

  • Coordinate and manage traffic from -to the Warehouse in US, including all Receiving/Shipping operations.

  • Lead activites for improving all warehouse management activities and proceses, implementing industry 4.0 as applicable.

  • EHS Commitee Lead

  • Member of Safety observation program

  • Participate in EHS or Workshops

  • Involve EHS seminars or Workshops

  • Together with the management comitee defines and reviews the (s) security policy, health and enviroment.

  • Together with the manaement committee establishes and environmental objectives and targets Safety an Health.

  • Together with de management committee conducted the review of the EHS Management system.

  • Ensure that the management team meets the functions defined in the EHS Management System and the guidelines or corporate initiatives.

  • To provide resource essential to the proper funcioning of the system Security Administration, Health and Environment.

  • Contribute to compliance (as applicable) Objectives and targets for safety, health and environment.

  • Follor-up and review procedures and instructions OHSAS 18001 & ISO 14001

  • Encourage continuous improvement practices among employees.

  • Attend trainings to learn about Lean & Six Sigma tools and continuous improvement methodologies as required by function and/or position.

  • Participate in risk management, which includes the identification of failure modes, hazards and environmental aspects, their respective assessment and the definition and implementation of controls.

  • Participate in incident and nonconformity investigations as well as in the determination of the necessary corrective actions.

  • Active participation in plant programs such as SafeTrack observations, suggestion box, Employee Idea System, LPA and 6S audits.

  • Participate in the training program of the plant attending trainings as scheduled and, when required, acting as internal instructor.

  • Comply with the documented procedures, instructions, and standards of the Integrated Management System and, when required, participate in their review and improvement.

  • Identify and report any injury or potential injury and any potential environmental impact.

  • Identify and intervene to correct unsafe acts and recognize safe behavior

  • Identify and intervene to correct unsafe and off standard conditions, when immediate correction is not possible report to direct manager or to the corresponding department.

  • Review and prevent the consequences of all actions before any activity and apply the Stop Work policy when needed.

  • Perform every activity considering the requirements of the Integrated Management System to contribute to the achievement of its objectives and to fulfill the Quality Policy and the Environmental, Health and Safety Policy.

Requirements:

-Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Administration, Laws or related field.

- Five years of experience in Warehouse.

-Knowledge of preference in: Import/Export Procedures, Stockroom, Shipping, Traffic and Manufacturing Processes.

-Communication skills.

-Experience necessary in Import/Export, Traffic and Production Areas.

-Bilingual English/Spanish is a must
