Tax Specialist

Reporting directly to the Senior VAT and Indirect Tax Compliance Manager, the Tax Specialist will deal with all the activities related to taxes for the EMEA region of Guess Europe. Income tax for EMEA countries: Support the tax team in the tax provision calculation Maintain statutory books and US-GAAP books Monitor income tax payments Reconcile tax GL accounts Ensure that income tax returns and other income tax obligations are fulfilled on time Support the tax team in drafting the tax forecast Assist the tax team in case of audits by tax authorities Indirect tax for EMEA countries: Support the indirect-tax team in: Monthly VAT returns Intrastat declarations VAT GL account reconciliations SOX controls Audit by tax authorities Transfer pricing for EMEA countries: Collect information for the annual Transfer Pricing documentation Review the Transfer Pricing reports Support the tax team in drafting the Country by Country Report Tax depreciation and amortization: Calculate depreciation and amortization according to tax rules Support General Ledger department in accounting reconciliations Requirements: High school or University degree in Tax, Accounting, Finance or similar Fluent English Any other language will be considered a plus Good knowledge of Microsoft Office package Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel Strong accounting knowledge Benefits: An International, fresh and dynamic working environment Balance between work and personal life: Smart Working (Hybrid work model) and Time flexibility Physical & Mental Health programs, sustainable projects, and workshops promoted by Guess Community Arts, sports, and social events outside the office, thanks to our Guess Fun activities Training & Development platform and paths Discount on our products both online and in stores Don't miss your chance to join a progressive and sustainable global company, which is constantly looking for new challenges and opportunities to grow in a competitive and tough market.
