Job Opening: Director Indirect Procurement

CommScope is recruiting an Indirect Procurement Director to join our growing team! The candidate will be based in Tijuana, Mexico. We are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace, and we encourage candidates from all backgrounds to apply.

This role will be part of our Access Network Solutions (ANS) Segment Procurement Team and report to our Vice President of Procurement. The candidate will ensure that the global procurement strategy is aligned with the segment's strategic requirements. You will contribute to our team by planning, developing, communicating, and implementing the BU strategy in support of product cost, quality, and service expectations.

How You’ll Help us Connect the World

The candidate will manage Procurement cost savings KPIs and drive initiatives across commodity teams. High levels of engagement with internal partners are essential to understanding their requirements and implementing policies for effective budget management and control. The candidate will develop and foster an engagement framework between Finance, Indirect Procurement, and corporate functions. The role includes participating in supplier negotiations and contract management to achieve cost savings and optimize financial outcomes. The ideal candidate will have experience in IT software, indirect hardware and software, contingent labor, transportation, logistics, and MRO. They will conduct RFQs, negotiate and execute contracts, and develop supplier relationships. Come connect with your future!

Required Qualifications for Consideration

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related area and/or advanced procurement qualifications are preferred (CPM, CPIM, etc.)

• Ten or more years of indirect procurement and leadership work experience.

• A proven record of working in a fast-paced, multi-functional, global, collaborative environment.

• Proficiency in Microsoft® Office suite/SAP/Ariba

• Excellent communication skills in English-Spanish languages
