About the role:
Astute's Renewables team is partnering with one of the most reputable sustainable energy companies in the UK and a pioneer in the sector. The company develop, construct own and operate their own renewable energy assets and we are looking for a Field Service Engineer to attend their sites in and around West Sussex which will be a mixture of EV chargers, large scale solar and battery storage assets.
The Field Service Engineer role comes with a salary of £41,000, excellent development and progression opportunities, an electric vehicle with charge points on site and company benefits.

Responsibilities and duties:
Reporting to the Field Service Manager you will:
Undertaking planned inspection and maintenance according to legal, technical, manufacturer and contractual requirements
Performing reactive maintenance, fault diagnosis and resolution in a timely manner
Carrying out site surveys as required
Compiling accurate and appropriate documentation for both internal and external stakeholders in a precise and timely manner
Keeping accurate and detailed records of electrical testing, and safety documents that are suitable for audit
Ensuring that work output meets technical quality, reliability, cost, and productivity
Complying with the company Health & Safety Policy, including carrying out general housekeeping
Complying with all aspects of the company's ISO standards: Quality management - ISO 9001 / Environmental - ISO 14001 proactively contributing to the company's continuous improvement programme
Participating in an on-call rota
Professional qualifications:
We are looking for someone with the following:
NVQ Level 3 electrical qualifications or equivalent
17th/18th (preferably) edition wiring regulations
Ideally at least a year's experience in electrical/O&M work
EV charge point commissioning and O&M experience would be advantageous
3 Phase experience is ideal
Personal skills:
The Field Service Engineer role would suit someone who is:

A full and clean UK driving license
