Job Description
Essential Responsibilities : - Lead and successfully deliver new / complex projects (either directly or along with team with a self-billing target of 90%) - Successfully deliver projects in Application Performance Engineering, Application Performance Management and Quality Assurance domain (for complete list of - Lead from the front and support the team in successful delivery of outcomes to customers through above solutions. - Stakeholders, Expectations and Risk management - Develops insights from internal and external sources and takes risks to implement leading edge solutions. - Ensure successful account entry and downstream business with new customers. - Create downstream business opportunities in each account. - Lead and Scale a Technology Practice - Responsible for P&L - Build and deliver new solutions. - Responsible for successful delivery of all projects and value to the client - Build capability and scale the team. - Workforce planning - delivery with optimum bench. - Through use of IPs, automation and use of right skills mix improve project and account profitability. - Client Relationship Management (both pre-sales & post-sales) - Be client CIO's trusted advisor. - Client delight - Ensure client delight. - Ensure referenceable clients. - Ensure higher CSAT from projects - 9 or 10/10 - Ensure 95% customer advocacy for Avekshaa. - Grow the business - Pre-sales / post-sales (play an active role in winning business) - Client CIO advisory - Business influenced through Branding (Thought leadership) - Successfully conduct POC and 90% of POC should result in Business. - Building winning proposals and win deals. - Manage and deliver superior value in Key Accounts - Deliver superior value. - Grow business in each account by minimum 30% on year-on-year basis. - Improve account profitability on a year-on-year basis. - Enable teams to deliver better value in projects - Conduct project reviews - Go to person for technical or for managing risk in all projects. - Innovation and Thought leadership - Create an organization that imagines and implements unique, breakthrough ideas. - Foresees customer and industry needs and responds with exceptional solutions. - Identify new ideas and approaches that others may have missed. - Produce relevant workable solutions to business problems. - Present paper and run blogs (directly and through team) - Build company brand through thought leadership. - Automate work delivery and Build IPs - Coaching & Mentoring - Provides the team with clear direction. Should be hands on, in the space of Performance Engineering. - Takes ownership for building capability in the organization by effective coaching and mentoring to move others to a higher level of working. - Improve architecture skills across all team members. - Ensure team members are happy through continuous engagement. - Help in career progression of the team. Skills & Experience : Key Technical Skills : - Deep experience in Application Performance Engineering, Application Performance Management and Quality Assurance with deep understanding of Java/J2EE technologies. - Experienced in defining and realizing end-to-end Technical Architecture for large scale real- time enterprise systems. Ability to identify and define non-functional requirements and design systems to meet the same. - Ability to review existing Architectures and identify Risks, Trade-offs, and share recommendations for addressing the identified issues. - Demonstrate strong understanding of cloud architecture considerations when scaling and tuning application deployments. - Must have hands on experience working on any of the Cloud deployments on AWS or Azure. - Good experience on leveraging APM tools to provide deep dive analysis on performance problems. - Deep understanding of the dashboards which can be built for CIO level interactions. - Must have relevant experience on APM tools like Dynatrace or AppDynamics. - Experience in performance optimization of J2EE systems on any of the application servers - WebLogic, WebSphere, JBoss etc. Deep expertise in any one of the application servers is a must. - Experience in creating and reviewing technical documents like Architecture blueprint, Design specifications, Deployment architecture. - Experience of working on Performance Testing Projects. - Good understanding of Performance Testing tools - Apache JMeter /Gatling/ HP Load Runner for Load testing. - Must be in a position to review Performance Testing programs and provide directions to the team on various aspects; Workload Model, Test and Monitoring Strategy, build performance models, and optimal Capacity Planning. - Experience in Big Data Analytics like - Apache Kafka, Apache Storm, Apache Hadoop, Apache Spark. - Good skills in RDBMS like : Oracle, MS-SQL, MySQL, Cassandra, and Mongo DB - Exposure to Agile methodologies & Continuous Integration Tools - Excellent Program Management skills - Governance of large Program, Risk Management, Stakeholder Management, Benefit Realization and Managing Executives at CIO level. - Experience of managing large multiyear programs. - Entrepreneur / Intrapreneur (someone who has built technology teams ground-up, built new solutions from scratch) - Sound understanding of technology and have a consultative approach. - Sound understanding of complex enterprise IT environment and issues faced by CIOs in the digital era. - Excellent Pre-sales experience and have played a key role in winning business along with the sales team. - Excellent communication, interpersonal, liaison and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a multi-cultural environment. - Good negotiation skills - Go getter and results oriented. - High energy level with ability to work well under pressure. - Good relationship building skills.
