Senior Sustainability & Climate Manager

The main mission is to act as the Climate subject matter expert for Prime and lead the implementation of Prime's Climate and decarbonization strategy. This includes overseeing annual GHG footprint assessments, monitoring energy transition investments, and developing decarbonization pathways and targets for all key business verticals.

Key responsibilities will include:

1. Lead on AXA IM Prime's climate change strategy, including:
   • Lead on the assessment of GPs and funds' climate capabilities, with the set-up of a specific climate scoring and a framework to assess Transition Plans.
   • Lead on the deployment of Prime's decarbonisation strategy with the support of a consultant, including financing the energy transition (definition, sectors mapping and targets), and the monitoring of the exposure to high emitting assets, fossil fuel and excluded sectors.
   • GHG footprint PMO: lead the end-to-end and yearly GHG footprint exercises for Private Equity, Infrastructure and Private Debt from planning, methodology definition and scoping to results finalisation. This includes selecting and overseeing the service provider and data collection platform to ensure quality output as well as supervising the outreach to the GPs (>100 GPs).
   • Represent AXA IM Prime to industry events and initiatives on Climate Change (iCI).
2. Lead on ESG integration for Infra equity:
   • Support ESG due diligences for new investments.
   • Support ESG integration in infra product offering: be the ESG contact point for investment, structuring, marketing and legal teams, support the completion of pre-contractual documentation, marketing materials, design of reporting.
3. Act as main contact for support functions (Business Development, Legal, Risks, Compliance, Structuring):
   • Supervise ESG integration in RFPs, marketing material, SFDR documentation, side letters with GPs and Prime's governance.

Votre Profil

We welcome different combinations of skills & experiences.

1. Education & Experience:
   • Master's degree in finance/economics or similar qualification.
   • ESG / climate specialist or relevant qualification.
   • 7-12 years of extensive experience in a leading ESG / climate role in Asset Management or Financial services.
2. Skills & Competencies:
   • Strong analytical skills.
   • Good understanding of portfolios decarbonization, GHG foot printing and energy transition.
   • Ability to manage GHG data sets and knowledge of climate reporting requirements.
   • Experience in project management.
   • Understanding of asset management, with an experience in private markets being a plus.
   • Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
   • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
   • Entrepreneurial and collaborative mindset, with a 'can do' mentality and willingness to work as part of a team and share success collectively.
   • Ability to think 'out of the box' and generate innovative yet economically feasible solutions, even under tight time constraints in a complex environment.
